"The Chum-King proved its
worth during my latest trip to Bimini. It
enabled us to effectively distribute both
chunks of bait and live baits throughout the
middle and lower levels of the water column,
and rally everything from kingfish to
snapper." - George Poveromo |

Skip Braden- Islamorada, Boat Name: Blue Chip
Too
" For the Yellow Tails we used the
Chum-King with shrimp and ballyhoo
towards the top. On the bottom we were
catching Mutton Snappers with cigar minnows."
|
 |
We
had a great day thanks to the chum-king.
|
 |
Yellowtails
ranged from 2 to 5 pounds. Cobia was 35
pounds. They were caught north of Bimini and
fishing in 70 feet of water. We opened the
chum king at depths of roughly 35 feet, and on
the bottom. |
 |
Aboard
the Marc IV, Capt George Poveromo primarily
used cut up Spanish sardines in the Chum-King,
but occasionally loaded it with live
pilchards. |

“I
also used it shark fishing, sending the
Chum-King down 60 feet and releasing bunker
and bluefish bits and you just know the
product works. In two shark trips, we caught
and released a border line mako about a 110-
to 115 pounds and we caught a 177-pound
thresher last Friday using the Chum-King.”
